You have been cordially invited by the Organizing Committee to attend the 11^th Chinese Conference on Cell Biology & Xi’an International Conference on Cell Biology2009 in Xi’an from 5 to7 July 2009. This conference is sponsored by Chinese Society for Cell Biology and organized by Fourth Military Medical University and Shaanxi Society for Cell Biology. It will stick closely to the theme of Cell, Life, Health and bring together the leading researchers to promote academic exchanges and collaborations in this field.

 

Cell Biology, one of the most important front disciplines of life sciences in 21st century, has gained vigorous growth and widely crossed many other disciplines in the past decades. The purpose of our conference is to present new findings and perspectives, to identify the challenging problems facing the development of this discipline, and to shape the future research directions through the publication of high quality basic and applied research findings. To help achieve this goal, a series of insightful speeches will be given by our invited cell biologists. Therefore, we encourage submissions of high quality papers on all topics in the general areas of Cell Biology.

 

It is also our great honor to announce that the Seventh Across the Taiwan Strait Symposium on Cell Biology will be held prior to our conference at the same site on July 2-4, 2009. As CCCB&XICCB will be held in Xi’an, one of the goals of the conference is to enable the delegates an opportunity to visit the long noted historical spots in this ancient capital of thirteen dynasties. The Organizing Committee will cooperate with travel agencies to organize tours for delegates with such demands.

3. All abstracts MUST be electronically typed with Microsoft Word (.doc extension) and submitted as E-mail attachments to chcerca@fmmu.edu.cn. You MUST clarify the areas of your research and the way you want to present your findings (i.e. oral presentation or poster) in your E-mail. Printed hard copy is unacceptable. As your submission will not be returned, a copy for your own may be needed.

 

4. The submitted abstracts cannot exceed 500 words in length, comprising the following parts in 6 separate paragraphs: Title, Authors, Affiliations and address with postcode, Abstract text, Keywords, and Contacts of corresponding authors.

 

5. Posters will be 110 cm × 80 cm in size and vertically typeset. Delegates who want to present your findings by posters must inform us in advance.

 

6. The submission deadline is April 30, 2009.

 

The working languages for the conference are Chinese and English, but all plenary speeches must be presented in English.
